Prime Minister tours Institute of Jamaica

Prime Minister, Bruce Golding signs the guest book after viewing the Port Royal Jamaica exhibition on display at the Museums of History and Ethnography division of the Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) on his visit to the institution on August 4, 2008. The Hon. Olivia Grange, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth, Sports and Gender Affairs (to his immediate right) and Vivian Crawford, Executive Director of the IOJ look on. Chairman of the Council Board of the IOJ, Professor Barry Chevannes (to the immediate left) and deputy chairman, The Hon. Barbara Gloudon also look on.
Prime Minister of Jamaica, The Hon. Bruce Golding on Monday, August 4, 2008 visited the Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) and the National Gallery of Jamaica. He was accompanied by The Hon. Olivia Grange, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth, Sports and Gender Affairs.

The Hon. Olivia Grange points out some detail in the piece, “Justice League” done by Natalie Barnes which is mounted at the National Gallery as part of the 2008 JCDC National Visual Arts Competition. Chief Curator of the National Gallery, Dr. David Boxer stands to the right of Mr. Golding.
While at IOJ, Mr. Golding toured the photographic exhibition, LINX Journey to Accompong in the Exhibition Gallery and the Port Royal Jamaica exhibition mounted at the Museums of History and Ethnography division. He later toured the 2008 JCDC National Visual Arts Competition exhibition at the National Gallery of Jamaica.
